Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti. It is one of the most beautiful Caribbean islands and the tourist centers like Puerto Plata and Punta Cana offer really a lot. Deciding between Punta Cana or Puerto Plata might be a difficult decision as both are the top holiday destinations in the Dominican Republic.
While Puerto Plata can score with a more low-key atmosphere and incomparable natural attractions, Punta Cana is famous for its endless sandy beaches, elegant all-inclusive resorts and countless excursions.
