B&B in Ragusa Ibla

Accommodations really mean a lot to me. Whenever I plan a vacation, I spend a lot of time on looking for places to stay. And that is how I found this B&B in Ragusa Ibla: “Epoca,” it was named.

There are a couple of things that I loved about this B&B in Ragusa Ibla. No, scratch that, let me say that I loved everything about this B&B in Ragusa Ibla. Just to start telling you about it, would you believe me if I said that we stayed in the city centre of Ragusa Ibla but still we were able to park our car right in front of our B&B? Oh yes, that’s so true!

If you have read my previous articles about the other towns of Sicily, you already know why parking next to the hotel is a very rare occasion in Sicily.

Obviously, this is not all there is to tell about this wonderful B&B in Ragusa Ibla!

B&B Epoca: Location and Parking

B&B Epoca has an ideal location. It is situated at the starting point of the old city centre of Ragusa Ibla, but yet it’s walking distance to all the attractions. This is absolutely not to be underestimated. Being at the starting point of the old city centre means having a place to park your car.

Moreover, since access to this area is allowed only to the residents we were provided with a municipality pass to make sure that we did not receive any fines. If you decide to reserve at B&B Epoca in Ragusa Ibla, call the owners beforehand to get the information on parking because they have limited numbers of city passes and if there are not any more available, they will guide you on the best solution.

Anyway, know that you don’t need a car in Ragusa Ibla, so once you park it you won’t touch it again until you leave. Know that B&B Epoca has electric bicycles for customers’ use, which is great to go up and down the hills of Ragusa.

B&B Epoca: rooms and owners

B&B Epoca is an ancient building built in the 19th century owned and managed by the sisters Costanza and Maria Diquattro. From what I understand, this B&B in Ragusa Ibla used to be the owners’ home. I mean they lived there with their family.

It is recently renovated and tastefully furnished respecting the architecture of the building’s period. They don’t fail to give attention to details.

The rooms are luminous and huge. It was clean and silent. I loved even the smell of the house.

Beds were very comfortable and different kind of pillows were available to assure a perfect rest.

I could feel the fact that things were done with passion and heart.

What I Loved more at B&B Epoca

A special mention goes to the breakfast, which was prepared with Sicilian high-quality local specialities. Food was not offered just to give something to eat, but I could feel how every single item was selected with the intention of giving the pleasure of eating.

B&B Epoca: in conclusion

When going around this B&B in Ragusa Ibla, I felt like I was on a movie set; it was as if we had stepped out of a time machine and landed in an aristocratic life of a couple of centuries ago. Only our clothing was out-of-place. I loved the way they have been able to keep up the past at 100%, yet give a necessary touch of new where needed, without obviously forgetting the comforts of nowadays.

EVERYTHING about our stay at B&B Epoca was impeccable! Returning seemed a must.

*DISCLAIMER: Thanks to “Epoca” for sponsoring my stay! Although, I was a guest, all opinions are my own.

Pin it for later ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

It looks like a lovely place to visit. If a hotel owner is passionate about what they do, it really comes across and makes a stay that much more special. What brilliant customer service!
